Shaw Park is in the Florence Lake neighborhood of Langford, B.C. This park is along the steep eastern slopes of Skirt Mountain and borders along Ironwood Park. Douglas fir and cedar trees provide shade of the gravel footpath through the park. The trail from Shaw Avenue is bordered by a chain link fence on the right and a wood fence to the left. Ocean spray and blackberry bushes grow along the gravel pathway that leads up Whisperwind Place. The pathway also leads toward a small open area and to Ironwood Park. Setchfield Shaw Green Space is across Shaw Avenue.

Shaw Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road and turn left at the log house pub onto Treanor Avenue. Continue along Treanor to reach Setchfield Avenue. Turn right onto Setchfield Avenue then take the first left onto Shaw Avenue. The trail to the park is between 980 and 960 Shaw Ave. There is roadside parking this area. Alternatively, turn onto Arngask Avenue then onto Whisperwind Place. There is a great view of the Florence Lake area from the turn-a-bout at the end of Whisperwind Place. The trail to Shaw Park is between 965 and 972. City buses travel along Setchfield Avenue which is near this park.
