Bellbarbie Green Space

Bellbarbie GS

Bellbarbie Green Space is in the Mill Hill neighborhood of Langford, B.C. The area is covered with grasses and a few scotch broom shrubs. Near Standlund Avenue a couple of street trees have been planted. Ivy has grown over the tall concrete highway fence and added good color to the area. Bellbarbie Green Space has a paved path and tunnel that allows bicycles to pass under the on ramp from Millstream/Veterans Memorial Parkway while traveling on the Trans Canada Highway. The concrete tunnel is lit and connects with Strandlund Avenue at Bellbarbie Crescent. From here the path reconnects to the highway or provides the option of taking several roads to reach the Galloping Goose Trail or the Via Rail Trail. Both cycling trails are best reached from exiting the freeway on the next off ramp just past Mill Hill.
