Tanzanita Park is in the Mill Hill neighborhood of Langford, B.C. This grass covered park is on a quiet street with a good view to the east. The playground, while small, has equipment that resembles a jeep or wagon with a slide and several way ways to climb up to it. It is set a pebble base. There are no trees to provide shade over the playground. While the park borders on the railway track there is a chainlink fence that limits access down the steep slope to the track. A foopath from the turn-about leads down the slope near the railway track and continues eastward into Edwards Park to eventually connect with Chilco Road in View Royal, B.C. Nugget Park, Crystalview Elementary School Green Space, Ruby Court Park, Mill Hill Regional Park, Crystalview Park, Edwards Park, Country Terrace Park and the Galloping Goose Trail are nearby.

Tanzanita Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road and turn south onto Veterans Memorial Parkway. Turn left onto Hoffman Avenue then right onto Winster Road and left onto Atkins Road. Each of these streets are about a block long. Continue along Atkins Road to reach Crystalview Drive which is at the four way stop. Follow Crystalview Drive to reach Tanzanita Place which lies to the right about a kilometer along the road. Turn onto Tanzanita Place and look for the park near the end of this cu-de-sac. City buses travel along Atkins Road.
