Danbrook Park

Danbrook Park is in the downtown area of Langford, BC. This landscaped inner city park has a few trees and open grass covered areas surrounded by private homes, housing complexes and commercial buildings. The three thousand square meter parkland has a sixty meter gravel pathway under the tall Douglas fir and Garry oak trees. Cedar hedge trees are grow along the north side of the park. The park is fenced with chain linked fencing and has gates for access from Danbrook Drive and Thomasett Place. A gravel trail to the north of the park leads to Thomassett Place. Veteran’s Memorial Park, Crossroads Park and the Trans Canada Trail– Langford or E&N Rail Trail are nearby.

Danbrook Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road/Veterans Memorial Parkway and head south toward Goldstream Avenue. Turn right onto Larkhall Road and continue as the road curves to become Claude Road. The park is on the left beside the large paved parking area. City buses travel along Goldstream Avenue and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway. This park can also be reached by strolling along the pathway from Thomassett Place from Claude Road. Claude Road can also be accessed from Goldstream Avenue.
