SunHills Park

SunHills Park is in the Braemar Heights neighborhood of Langford, B.C. This park is on the western slope of Triangular Hill also called Triangle Mountain. Rocky outcrops with cedar and Douglas fir are seen in this area of Southern Vancouver Island.  This nature park is on steep slopes of the mountain and has two short trails. The north trail connects with Sun Estates Park and to Lookout Lake Park in Colwood. The gravel foot path has a couple of section with wooden stairs. The south trail connects to Fulton Road near Havenwood Park and is a gradual sloped footpath covered mostly with loose gravel. Havenwood Park, in Colwood, Sunheights Park, SunGrove Park, Desmond South Park, Desmond North Park and Ernhill Park are nearby.

Sunhills Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream exit and continue along south to reach the Veterans Memorial Parkway. Turn onto Sooke Road and take the first left onto Fulton Road. Continue onto Fulton Road and then left onto Sunheights Drive. Continue along Sunheights Drive to reach Sun Estates. Turn left onto Sun Estates on continue onto Sun Hills. There is limited roadside parking these steep streets. The park can also be access from Lookout Lake Park in Colwood, B.C. City buses travel along Sunheights Drive.
