Thrush Park

Thrush Park is in the Happy Valley neighborhood of Langford, B.C. This narrow park separates the single family homes along Turnstone Drive from the condominium complex along Gala Court. The park is a narrow E-shaped public space the rather steep slopes of Triangle Hill. This hill is also called Triangle Mountain. A rough foot path in the park curves along the east side of the homes to connect with Sanderling Way. The trail branches toward the circle route around the pond in Braeburn Park. Braeburn Park, Luxton Park, Kinglet Park, Turnstone Park, Happy Valley Elementary School Green Space and the Galloping Goose Trail – Langford are nearby.

Thrush Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn off Hwy1 at the Millstream and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway. Continue along VMP to reach Sooke Road. Turn right onto Sooke Road and continue to Happy Valley Road. Follow Happy Valley Road to reach Turnstone Drive. Follow Turnstone Drive to reach and look for trail access at the junction of Turnstone Drive and Gala. The pathway is on the right side of 3429 and continue behind the single family homes and the strata complex. There is limited roadside parking this area. City buses travel along Happy Valley Road.
