Branson Green Space

Branson Green Space is in the District of Metchosin, a coastal community in the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This long and narrow green space has a rough trail on the steep slopes of the Albert Head/Duke Point neighborhood. It connects Branson Road with Duke Road. A trail marker is seen on both ends of the footpath. This rough dirt trail is about three hundred meters long with about a 25 meter slope change. This can be a great spot to explore the outdoors in the Victoria area since views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca can be seen through the forest. Cedar, fir and big leaf maple trees form the over story while the undergrowth includes ferns, blackberries and salal.
