The Oak Bay branch of the Greater Victoria Public Library Green Space is in the seaside community of Oak Bay, one of thirteen areas of the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This green space contains an inviting perimeter floral area for the building that also houses the Monterey Recreation Center. The parking area is shaded by several large Garry oak trees. There is a hundred meter long concrete walkway that connects Monterey Avenue to Hampshire Road. The pathway is through the middle of the parking area then along the south side of the building.

Greater Victoria Public Library Green Space can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway. Continue along the Hwy 1 into Victoria as it becomes Douglas Street. Turn off Douglas onto Hillside Avenue to head east. Stay on Hillside Avenue as it becomes Lansdowne Road. Continue along Lansdowne Road to reach Foul Bay Road. Continue along Foul Bay Road to reach Oak Bay Avenue. Continue along the shops to reach Monterey Avenue. There is a small parking area and street parking. City buses travel along Oak Bay Avenue.
