Colville Ball Park is in the seaside community of Esquimalt, one of thirteen communities in the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This fenced sand locked sports field is grass covered with markings for three softball diamonds. One diamond is completely fenced with a gravel area in the outfield. These fields are used by the Greater Victoria Mixed Slo-pitch Association and their website has further information. No dogs allowed. The namesake for Colville Road was Lord Andrew Colville, an English investor in the early eighteen hundreds. He invested in the Hudson Bay Company and negotiated the merger with the Northwest Company in eighteen twenty one. Rockcrest Nature Area, Lugrin Park, Wurtele Park, God’s Acre Cemetery Green Space and Colville Field Park are nearby.

Colville Ball Park can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway when you exit southward onto Tillicum Road. Follow Tillicum to Colville Road then turn right. Continue along Colville to reach Veterans Drive. The parking area is along this road past the Base Hospital parking area. There is limited street parking along Colville Road. The city bus travels along Colville Road.
