Gabriola Lochside Green Space is in the seaside community of Sidney, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This green space provides access to the Lochside Trail from Gabriola Place. Ornamental plum and cedar trees provide shade over the wooden fences that form the perimeter of this easement access. Lochside Trail – Sidney, Rathdown Park, Beaver Park and Melissa Park are nearby.

Gabriola Lochside Green Space can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1). Exit Hwy1 onto McKenzie Avenue to reach the Pat Bay Highway (Hwy 17). Head north along Hwy17 as it leads past the airport to reach Sidney on the Saanich Peninsula. Turn at MacDonald Park Road and turn right onto Ardwell Avenue. There is an access to Lochside Trail on the left near this intersection. Continue to drive along to reach Gabriola Place and turn right onto the street. Look for the trail access between houses 10302 and 10301. There is limited parking in this neighborhood. City buses travel along Resthaven Drive.
