Winspear Green Space is in the seaside community of Sidney, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. The large conference center hosts well tended gardens and grassy areas around the conference center make for a pleasant walk. While attending an event at the center or for just a pleasant outing, visit the war memorial near the entrance that acknowledges the Canadians that served with their lives during times of war and peace for Canada. The Center is surrounded by the well maintained lawns and the pathways connect to Bevan Park, and the Lochside Trail. This facility was dedicated to Ms. Mary Winspear who was an inspiring educator from eastern Canada who retired to Sidney and became involved with education and the arts of Saanich Peninsula.
