Kestrel Rason Green Space is in the community of Langford, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. A ninety meter long pedestrian pathway connects Kestrel Ridge to Rason Road in Langford , B.C. The sloped pathway is bordered by a black chain-link fence and a simple rock wall as well as open grass areas and small shrubs. Most of this public access appears to be part of the neighboring homes; the white post marks the gravel and grass trail from Rason Road. There are good views of the housing development on in the Bear Mountain area. The route is maintained as a utilities easement access for the City of Langford. Thetis Lake Park, Bellamy Park, Haley Rae Place Green Space, Peacock Place Green Space, Goldie Park, Millstream Creek Trail and Gourman Park are nearby.

Kestrel Rason Green Space can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy1). Turn at Millstream Road and continue to the log house pub and turn right onto Goldie Avenue then left onto Gourman Place. Turn onto Rason Road which is the first left. Continue to the end of the road and look for parking in the cul-de-sac. The pathway is between 662 and 670 Rason Road and 666 and 659 Kestrel Ridge. City buses travel near Bellamy Road and Phelps Avenue..
