Blythwood Park

Blythwood Park is in the seaside community of Sooke, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This nature park borders along the Galloping Goose Trail – Sooke. There are plenty of Himalayan blackberries and other small plants growing under the deciduous and conifers in this parkland. Mowich Park is nearby.

Blythwood Park can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway. Take the Langford Parkway exit and follow along to reach Sooke Road (Hwy 14). Follow Sooke Road and turn onto Parklands Road just before the Saseemos Elementary School. Take the first right onto Blythwood Road and then the first left onto Corvis Way. Follow this narrow road to reach Wisterwood Way West and turn left. Look for the rough pathway into parkland near the end of the road. The pathway leads to the Galloping Goose Trail – Sooke. There is a limited parking near this parkland. This is about a forty minute drive from Victoria. There is a city bus stop along Sooke Road near the Elementary School. Then walk along Parkland and Blythwood roads to reach the parkland.
