Woodland Creek Park is in the seaside community of Sooke, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This three hectare park has a playground, walking trails and pond surrounded by tall fir, cedar and cottonwood trees. The playground has twin slides, a climbing tower and various climbing apparatus. The play set is on a wood chip base with a grass covered area and benches on its perimeter. The walkway that connects the Woodland Creek neighborhood to the green space of Journey Middle School, Ecole Poirier Elementary School and Arranwood Drive. The park has partial split cedar fence along the roadside. Chain link fencing is found along its eastern perimeter. The waterway in the park flows into DeMameil Creek and the Sooke River. This is a good place for a walk in your backyard.

Woodland Creek Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway. Take the Langford Parkway exit and follow along to reach Sooke Road (Hwy 14). Follow highway 14 to Church Road. Turn right onto Church Road and continue along to reach Church Hill Road. Turn right and follow along to reach Callumwood Lane. Turn right onto Callumwood Lane and look for the park sign and cedar fence on the right between homes. There is limited parking along Callumwood Lane. City buses travel along Sooke Road.
