Sooke Elementary School Green Space is in the seaside community of Sooke, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This two and half hectare green space has two large sports fields and a couple of playground areas. It is part of the Sooke School District #63 and was the second elementary school in British Columbia; built in eighteen seventy two. The current school grounds were established in eighteen ninety one with the building have gone through several renovations. The green space has a chain link fence along its perimeter. The two grass covered sports fields have wooded goal posts at each end. A small chain-link backstop is found on the southwestern side of the field. The play areas have a wood chip base. There are swings and climbing equipment that includes poles, stairs and ladders of various types. There are a few cedar trees and a large tamarack tree on the green space. This is a good place to walk in your backyard.

Sooke Elementary School Green Space can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway. Take the Langford Parkway exit and follow along to reach Sooke Road (Hwy 14). Follow highway 14 to the school grounds located immediately past Dover Road. There is a asphalt parking area with limited parking. City buses travel along Sooke Road.
