Amanda Place Park is in the seaside community of Sooke / Otter Point, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia and is part of the Juan De Fuca Electoral District Parkland. This nature park is in the quiet residential area of Otter Point. The half a hectare is a second growth forest composed hemlock, cedar and fir trees. The terrane is steep in places. This is a good place to walk in your back yard.

Amanda Place Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway. Take the Langford Parkway exit and follow along to reach Sooke Road (Hwy 14). Follow highway 14 as it becomes the West Coast Road. Continue along as the road and turn right onto Otter Point Road. Follow Otter Point Road to Amanda Place. Turn right onto Amanda Place and look for the park between 2565 and 2585. There is road side parking. City buses travel along Sooke Road and the West Coast Road infrequently.
