Farmer Road Green Space is in the seaside community of Sooke, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia and is part of the Juan De Fuca Electoral District Parkland. The trail access has a red gate that bars access to vehicles along Farmer Road. The roadway is the trail that leads into a wider selection of trails. King Creek Trail is a rough trail that leads toward King Creek. The forest is composed of second growth cedar, fir and hemlock. The trails are frequented by dog walkers, hikers and equestrians. The route loops back or continues to Kemp Lake Road. This is a good place to walk in your back yard.

Farmer Road Green Space can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway. Take the Langford Parkway exit and follow along to reach Sooke Road (Hwy 14). Follow highway 14 to Otter Point Road. Turn right onto Otter Point Road and continue along the roadway to reach Farmer Road. Turn left onto Farmer Road and look for the park on the right at the junction of the road. There is parking in this area. City buses travel along Sooke Road and Otter Point Road.
