Fentress Park lies in the municipality of Central Saanich, one of the thirteen which form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, Fentress Park is about 2000 square meters. It is found on the west side the Pat Bay Highway, Hwy 17, near the border between North Saanich and Central Saanich. A small ephemeral creek flows north of the park. There is no public access to this parkland.

Fentress Park lies along the Patricia Bay Highway, Highway 17, which heads north from the Trans-Canada Highway Highway 1. To find a potential access to the park, exit left off the Highway 17 onto Mount Newton Cross Road. Turn right immediately onto Central Saanich Road. At the merger of Central Saanich Road with Bourne Terrace is the creek that flows to the ocean and lies beside Fentress Park. There is limited parking along Bourne Terrace.
