Lancelot Green Space

Lancelot Green Space is in the municipality of Central Saanich, one of the thirteen which form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, this green space is a paved pathway, about twenty meters long, that leads to Saanichton Bay Park. The pathway is bordered by a chain-link fence, hedges and shrubs of the neighboring properties. The trail opens to large grass covered area and a bench with views over the waters of Saanichton Bay. Continue into Saanichton Bay Park for a walk along the ridge overlooking the bay. This is a good place to walk in your back yards.

Lancelot Green Space can be reached from the Patricia Bay Highway, Highway 17, which heads north from the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1). Exit the Highway 17 right onto Mount Newton Cross Road and turn left onto Lochside Drive. Turn right onto James Island Road then right onto Lancelot Place. The green space and trail are found at the end of road. There is road side parking. City busses travel along Lochside Drive.
