Marigold Park

Marigold Park is in the municipality of Central Saanich, one of the thirteen which form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, this park has a small grass covered area and a playground. The two play structures are composed of climbing and balancing logs and cables. This play area is designed for young children. There are wood chips that form the base of the play area. A toilet is found here and few benches. The perimeter of the park is landscaped with small shrubs. This park is close to the Marigold Café and other outdoor places to explore: Saanichton Bay Park and Newman Park in the Turgoose Neighborhood. It is a good place to walk in your backyard.

Marigold Park can be reached from the Patricia Bay Highway, Highway 17, which heads north from the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1). Exit the Highway 17 right onto Mount Newton Cross Road and turn left onto Lochside Drive and look for the park on the left behind the Marigold Café. There is small parking area near the park. City busses travel along Lochside Drive.
