Saanichton Green Park is in the municipality of Central Saanich, one of the thirteen which form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, this parkland hosts a playground, tennis court, meeting hall and a historical museum. The park has several trees included cedar, fir, black walnut, sequoia and smaller deciduous species. There is concrete walkway along the roadside perimeter and through the grass covered areas. There are benches, picnic areas and a half basketball court. The parkland hosted the Saanich Fair for a hundred and twenty years as it was a gathering place for annual dances and events. This is a good place to walk in your backyard and is close to shopping and eating places.

Saanichton Green Park can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway, Highway One. Exit on to Mackenzie Avenue to reach Highway 17, the Pat Bay Highway. Continue along Highway 17 to reach Mount Newton Cross Road. Turn left onto Mount Newton Cross Road and follow along to reach East Saanich Road. Turn right onto East Saanich Road and look for the park entrance, a large archway, on the left. Turn left onto Polo Park Crescent where there is roadside parking and a small parking lot near the Saanich Pioneer Museum.
