Stelly’s Cross Road Green Space is in the municipality of Central Saanich, one of the thirteen which form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, this green space provides access to the shores of Saanich Islet and the ocean waters of the Salish Sea. This green space has a rough trail from the roadway that leads down to the mud and rock beach. This is a good place to watch the boats and the waters of the Brentwood Bay. This is a good place to walk in your backyard.
Geographical location N48º 34’ 47” W 123º 28’ 11” Stelly’s Cross Road Green Space can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway, Hwy 1. Exit onto Mackenzie Avenue and follow along to exit onto Highway 17, Pat Bay Highway. Follow Hwy 17 to exit to the left onto Island View Road. Follow Island View to East Saanich Road. Turn off onto Stelly’s Cross Road and follow to its terminus. The trail is found at the western end of the road. The pathway to the water has trail marker. There is limited parking in this area.
