Logan Park is in the District of Saanich, one of thirteen areas that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This four and half-hectare parkland is in rural Saanich with the main trail composed of dispersed gravel. The two trails loop off both sides of the main trail. They meander throughout the selectively logged forest of firs and cedars. These include western redcedar, Thuja plicata, grand fir, Abies grandis, and Douglas fir, Pesudotsuga menziesii. The understory and wetlands have sedges, shrubs and skunk cabbage. These trails in the park allow you to explore the habitats with ease with two bridges that cross over one of the two tributaries of Colquitz River in this park. Durrell Creek and Viaduct Creek flow through this parkland. The wooden bridges cross over Viaduct Creek. Equestrians, canine walkers and birders frequent this forest parkland.
