Spencer Middle School Green Space is in the Langford Lake area of Langford, B.C. As part of the Sooke School District number 62, the grounds of the school host a couple of sports fields and a small play area. The school grounds are available outside of school hours. The grass fields are large enough for soccer, footfall, rubgy as well as track and field. There is small area with a backstop for baseball games. The west side of the green space has tall chain link fencing to limit access to Spencer’s Pond Park while the north and east side fences are bordered Tri-way Trailer Park and warehouses. There are several tall Douglas fir trees and a garden border of rose bushes near the road. This green space is about three and half hectares and includes part of the waterway that drains Leigh Pond. Karr Goldstream Green Space, Centennial Park, Langford Lake Park North, Spencer’s Pond Park and Knotty Pond Park are nearby.

Spencer Middle School Green Space can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Leigh Road exit and head south to reach Goldstream Avenue. Turn left and then make the first right turn as the school is on the left. There is limited roadside parking this area and a limited access to the school parking lot. City buses travel along Goldstream Avenue.
