Goldsmith Elgin Green Space is in the seaside community of Oak Bay, one of thirteen areas of the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Situated beside the Oak Bay High School running track, this green space is a walkway from the parking lot at the end of Goldsmith Street to the north end of Elgin Road. The concrete sidewalk is about 150 meters long and borders along the chain link fences of the running track, a parking lot and the concrete wall of the Oak Bay municipal yard. Bowker Creek Park and Oak Bay High School Green Space are nearby.

Goldsmith Elgin Trail Green Space can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway. Continue along the Hwy 1 into Victoria as it becomes Douglas Street. Turn off Douglas onto Hillside Avenue to head east. Stay on Hillside Avenue as it becomes Lansdowne Road. Continue along Lansdown Road to reach Foul Bay Road. Turn right onto Foul Bay Road and continue to Goldsmith Street. It is near the Oak Bay Recreation Center. Turn onto Goldsmith and continue to the end and into the parking lot. The large parking lot is beside the Oak Bay High School running track. City buses travel along Foul Bay Road and Cadboro Bay Road.
