The E&N Railway Trail – Esquimalt is in the seaside community of Esquimalt, one of thirteen communities in the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. At just under a three kilometers, this section of the E&N Railway Trail – Esquimalt is an asphalt-covered two lane pathway. The route is used by bicyclists, walker, runners and dog walkers. Access to this pathway is from several points: Hereward Road, Devonshire Road, Lampson Street, Hutchinson, Wurtele, Intervale Avenues, Admirals and Colville intersection as well as several points along Admirals Road. The E&N Railway Trail-Esquimalt parallels Admirals Road from about Hallowell Road to Maplebank Road. The trail continues into Victoria on its eastern end and into View Royal on the western end. There are several shade trees and many shrubs along the trail. The E&N Railway is parallels the actual railway trail along most of its route. Esquimalt High School Green Space, Lampson Lions Park. Lugrin Park, Colville Ball Park, and Wurtele Park are nearby.

The E&N Railway Trail- Esquimalt can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy1). Exit onto Admirals Road to head south. At the junction with Craigflower Road continue to along as the road curves past the shopping complex. Look for the footpath on the right. There is parking along Hallowell Road, Maplebank and sections of Admirals and Colville Road. There is also parking along Lampson, Wurtele and other streets that parallel the pathway. Buses travel along Lampson Street, Colville Road and Admirals Road.
