Mills Green Space

Mills Green Space in the seaside community of Sidney, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. The green space connects to the library which is beside the community Wellness Park and Rose Garden, The concrete pedestrian pathway connects along Mills Road. The path is about one hundred and forty meters long and makes for a nice warmup stroll before heading to the Wellness Park outdoor exercise equipment. There is a grass covered area beside the pathway which is bordered by the laurel hedge and fences of the neighboring town home complexes. The Rose Garden, Wellness Park, Sidney Elementary School Green Space, Lochside Trail – Sidney and Beacon Park are nearby

Mills Green Space can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1). Exit Hwy1 onto McKenzie Avenue to reach the Pat Bay Highway (Hwy 17). Head north along Hwy17 as it leads past the airport to reach Sidney on the Saanich Peninsula.  Turn at Beacon Avenue to head east then turn left onto Resthaven Drive. Look for the pathway just north of the library.  Parking is available in the library parking lot and along Mills Road. The closest bus passes along Resthaven Drive and stops beside the library.
