Maryland Park

Maryland Park is in the seaside community of Sidney, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This is a small grass covered parkland in Sidney’s waterfront neighborhood. It is surrounded by the homes in the neighborhood. This park can be accessed from pedestrian pathways from Webster Place and Captains Walk.

Maryland Park is accessed from the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1). Exit Hwy1 onto McKenzie Avenue to reach the Pat Bay Highway (Hwy 17). Head north along Hwy17 as it leads past the airport to reach Sidney on the Saanich Peninsula.  Turn at left at McTavish Road and travel along the multi-traffic circles to reach Lochside Drive. Follow Lochside Drive past Lochside Water Front Park and look for Frost Avenue on the left. Turn left onto Frost Avenue and then left on Maryland Drive. Continue to the end of Maryland which leads to Webster Place. There is limited parking near the pathway to the park. Alternatively you can park near Captains Walk, off of Lochside Drive, and walk the pathway to the park area. City buses travel along Lochside Drive..
