Burnside School Green Space is in the seaside city of Victoria, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. At 3130 Jutland Road is Burnside School Campus with an imposing two story building built by nineteen twelve from brick and concrete. It served as a school for the Victoria School District 61 for nearly eighty years and now hosts education and community event organized by the Burnside Gorge Community. Its three quarter of a hectare school yard is composed of two fenced sport fields along Cecelia Road. The playgrounds on the northern side of the road has limited access during school hours. Some large trees shade the area along Cecelia Road. Further along Cecelia Road is the Cecelia Ravine Park, Cecelia Cove Park and Viaduct Park as well as the Galloping Goose Regional Trail. Across Jutland Road is Sumas Park with a playground. The Victoria Heritage Foundation has information about the history of the school and this neighborhood.

Burnside Community Center Green Space can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway. Continue along the highway as it becomes Douglas Street. Turn west onto Finlayson Street continue across Burnside Road. Take the next right onto Cecelia Road. A city bus travels along Gorge Road East from downtown.
