The Canadian Coast Guard Rooftop Garden is in the seaside city of Victoria, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. The rooftop of one of the buildings for the Canadian Coast Guard facility in James Bay, Victoria, B.C., had a small grass covered area accessed by a pathway lined with rose bushes. This small rooftop garden is complete fenced to limit access to the pea gravel roof area. The half of an hectare area has shore pine trees and shrubs along the Heron Street entrance. The David Foster Walkway passes by this garden along Dallas Road. The Canadian Coast Guard Green Space, Camel Point Green Space, Rotary Welcome Garden, Ogden Point Park and walkway are to the south along Dallas Road. Heron Street Green Space, Fisherman’s Wharf Park, Heron Cove Park, Todd Park, Earnest Todd Park and MacDonald Park are all nearby.

Canadian Coast Guard Rooftop Garden can be reached the Trans Canada Highway. Follow the highway as it becomes Douglas Street. Follow Douglas Street go up the hill and turn right onto Superior Street. Continue to the end of Superior Street and left on to St Lawrence Street. St Lawrence Street curves to become Erie Street. Erie Street then connects with the north end of Dallas Road. The garden is along Dallas Road is near the junction with Heron Street. City buses travel along Dallas Road to this area of James Bay from downtown Victoria.
