Painter Pond Park is in the seaside community of Sooke, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. A nature trail and a small pond surrounded by trees from Painter Pond Park. There are two footpaths in to this park. The main trail lead to Sunriver Place while a shorter trail leads into the parkland. There is a picnic table at this park. The parkland is enclosed in a split cedar fence. This is a good place to walk in your back yard.

Painter Pond Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway. Take the Langford Parkway exit and follow along to reach Sooke Road (Hwy 14). Follow highway 14 to Phillips Road. Turn right onto Phillips Road and continue to Sunriver Way. Turn left onto Sunriver Way then left onto DeMamiel Drive and look for the park on the right near DeMamiel Place. City buses travel along Sooke Road.
