Driftwood Ponds Park

 

Driftwood Ponds Park is in the seaside community of Sooke, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located in the Sunriver Estates neighborhood, Driftwood Ponds Park is a small nature park with a walking trail. The nature trail is about one hundred meters long and composed of gravel. There are several tall conifers and many smaller shrubs and trees in this park. The park borders along DeMameil Creek which is a tributary of the Sooke River.

Driftwood Ponds Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway. Take the Langford Parkway exit and follow along to reach Sooke Road (Hwy 14). Follow highway 14 to Phillips Road. Turn right onto Phillips Road then take a left onto Sunriver Way follow Sunriver Way to Drift wood Drive and look for the park between home 2440 and 2436 or at the end of Stonewood Drive or Driftwood Place. City buses travel along Sooke Road, Phillips Road and Sunriver Way.
