DeMamiel Creek Golf Course Green Space is in the seaside community of Sooke, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This nine hectare area has a nine hole public golf course that is open seasonally. Cedar hedge trees and several other conifer trees are found here. The three par golf course was privately owned until two thousand and fifteen and reopened the following year under the authority of the SEAPARC Center. There is small parking area and a concession building near Throup Road. DeMamiel Creek forms the north border of the parkland while the Skateboard Park and Journey Middle School Green Spaces lie on the west side. This green space is fenced with a low chain link fence. There is a walking and cycling trail to the east that leads to the SEAPARC recreation center. This is a wonderful place to walk with a purpose in your back yard.
