Throup Road Park

Throup Road Park is in the seaside community of Sooke, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This three hectare parkland borders along the SEAPARC bike park and baseball diamond. The parkland has a good trail along its north border. This trail connects with the cycling and walking trail of SEAPARC green space. The rest of Throup Road Park has very rough walking trails as it is a nature park with a second growth forest. Tread with caution along the narrow pathways while enjoying the cedar, hemlock and Douglas fir trees. The undergrowth is dense with blackberries, salal, snow berry and ocean spray plants. This is a good nature park as a walk in your back yard. DeMamiel Creek Golf Course Green Space is nearby.
