Salmon Road Green Space is in the municipality of Central Saanich, one of the thirteen which form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, this green space is a narrow access to the waterfront along Saanich Inlet. The forest, bordered by the neighboring fences, is a mixed deciduous forest with big leaf maples and arbutus as well as firs and hemlocks. The shore is composed of bedrock and covered with driftwood of various sizes. The steep access to the bedrock shore is rough and involves climbing over tree routes.
