The Saanich School District Individual Learning Center Green Space is in the municipality of Central Saanich, one of the thirteen which form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, this green space was the school grounds of Saanichton Elementary School which closed to grade school students in two thousand and eight. The school district is number sixty three in British Columbia. The green space has a large grass field for soccer, football or tossing a Frisbee. There are outdoor basketball courts and areas of other outdoor activities. The green space is surrounded by farmed field of various crops. This is a good place to walk in your back yard.

The Saanich School District Individual Learning Center Green Space can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway, Highway One. Exit on to Mackenzie Avenue to reach Highway 17, the Pat Bay Highway. Continue along Highway 17 to reach Mount Newton Cross Road. Turn left onto Mount Newton Cross Road and follow along looking for 1649 Mt Newton Cross Road and Malcolm Road. The parking area here is gated outside of school hours. Mt Newton Cross Road Green Space, Butterfield Park, Pat Thomson Park and Thomson Place Park are nearby. City busses pass by this green space.
