English Meadow Park

English Meadows Park is in the municipality of Central Saanich, one of the thirteen which form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, this park hosts a playground and a couple of benches; maybe stop for a picnic lunch or break. The perimeter of the park has various shrubs and trees. A small grass covered area surrounds the playground. Enjoy the terrific views of the neighborhood and the ocean waters of Haro Strait, part of the Salish Sea and Pacific Ocean. This is a good place to walk in your backyard.

English Meadows Park can be reached from the Trans- Canada Highway (Hwy 1). Exit Hwy 1 to reach Hwy 17, Pat Bay Highway, by turning off at the MacKenzie Avenue exit. Once on Hwy 17 follow along to reach Tanner Road. Exit left onto Tanner Road and then make the first right onto Bella Vista Drive. Follow along Bella Vista Drive to reach the park. It will be on the left near Fielding Place. City busses pass near this park.
