Brentwood Elementary School Green Space is in the municipality of Central Saanich, one of the thirteen which form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, this green space hosts the Saanich School District, #62, school buildings and playing fields. The grounds are accessible outside of school hours. The green space is surrounded by corrugated wire fence-line that has several gated openings. The sport fields have goal posts and there are a couple of playground areas. Swings, climbing apparatus with platforms, slides and poles are designed for elementary aged children. There are several Garry oak trees that provide shade over the school grounds. This is a good place to walk in your backyard.

Brentwood Elementary School Green Space can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway, Hwy 1. Exit onto McKenzie Avenue and follow along to exit onto Highway 17, Pat Bay Highway. Follow Hwy 17 to exit to the left onto Island View Road. Follow Island View to East Saanich Road. Turn left onto East Saanich Road and then turn left onto Stelly’s Cross Road. Follow Stelly’s Cross Road to West Saanich Road. Turn left onto West Saanich Road and follow along to reach Wallace Drive where there is a parking area on the right. City busses travel along Wallace Drive.
