Bayside Middle School Green Space is in the municipality of Central Saanich, one of the thirteen which form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, this green space provides access to the playing fields and play areas of the middle school. The green space has several Garry oak and fir trees. Ocean spray, snow berry and blackberry bushes are seen in areas of the school yard. A Frisbee golf course located here for a fun and focused outdoor activity. Outdoor art can also be enjoyed here. The school yard has several deciduous trees and a small garden area. This is a good place to walk in your backyard.

Bayside Middle School Green Space can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway, Hwy 1. Exit onto McKenzie Avenue and follow along to exit onto Highway 17, Pat Bay Highway. Follow Hwy 17 to exit to the left onto Island View Road. Follow Island View to East Saanich Road. Turn left onto East Saanich Road and then turn left onto Stelly’s Cross Road. Follow Stelly’s Cross Road to West Saanich Road. Turn left onto West Saanich Road and follow along to reach Wallace Drive. Turn left onto Wallace Drive and follow along to reach Newton Place. Turn right onto Newton Place and look for the school parking area on the left. City busses travel along West Saanich Road.
