Muirfield Park

Muirfield Park is in the Bear Mountain neighborhood of Langford, BC. The one fifth of a hectare park is landscaped with grass and trees with much of the vegetation around the exposed bedrock left to grow. The park and nearby street refer to one of the oldest golf courses in Scotland, Muirfield, the Honorably Company of Edinburgh Golfers. Jack Nichlaus won his first, of an eventual grand slam, Open Championship hosted at Muirfield. Muirfield Place Green Spare, Hannington Park, Troon Park, Bear Mountain Bike Park, Highland Valley Trail, Skirt Mountain Trail, Canada Cup Trail, Nichlaus Park, Natures Gate Park and Hannington Park are nearby.

Muirfield Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road and turn left onto Bear Mountain Parkway. Continue along BMP to reach Nichlaus Drive. Turn left onto Nichlaus Drive then right onto Muirfield Place. The park is near intersection. There is limited parking along Muirfield Place.
