Stewart Mountain Road Green Space is in the seaside community of the Highlands, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. This green space is a peaceful windy country road has a walking trail along its length. Stroll along here to enjoy the lovely forests among scattering of houses. There are also several points along the road to lengthen your walk. At the first curve on the Stewart Mountain Road is a gated access to the trails that traverse the area under the transmission lines and towers. The trail leads to Stewart Mountain and Scafe Hill summits of Thetis Lake Park.
As you continue up the road, two or three curves later, you’ll reach a small pond on the right. This seasonal water feature marks the access point to Stewart Mountain Road Park. Continue along the road for another kilometer to reach one of many trails into Thetis Lake Regional Park.
