Bear Mountain Parkway Green Space is in the community of Langford, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. The nature area that divides a small section the Bear Mountain Parkway has several tall Douglas fir and cedar trees with a dense ground cover of shrubs. This one and half hectare area is near the Stone Gate subdivision and has the large sign for the area located on the lower end. Gardner Creek, a tributary for Mill Stream, flows through the forested area. There is no parking near this green space although it can be reached from the trail from Barrow Gate Road and is near the Echo Valley Drive. Setchfield Park, Gannet Court Green Space, Skyline Park, Harrow Gate Park, Bishop Gate Park and Alton Lane Park are nearby.

Bear Mountain Parkway Green Space can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway also called Hwy1. Turn at Millstream Road and turn left onto Bear Mountain Parkway. Continue up the hill until you see the sign with  “ecoasis and Bear Mountain.” The green space is the forest area right behind that.  There is no parking along the roadway although there is limited parking along the roadways in the Stone Gate neighborhood.
