Author: Healthy Naturalist

Hi! I'm Roberta, an avid walker, hiker and naturalist. I'm a back yard hiker which means I hike the local area where I live on Vancouver Island. I share these urban parks and outdoor spaces with you. I want to encourage you to explore the neighborhoods in the Capital Regional District of British Columbia by foot. Immersing yourself in your natural world, on the southern end of Vancouver Island and elsewhere, helps you to find balance in life. Spending time in the woods, called forest bathing, has health benefits such as calmness, relaxing and recentering.
