Stadacona Park is in the city of Victoria, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Stadacona Park is wonderful two hectare parkland with beautiful plant displays and grassy areas that was established in the early nineteen hundreds. As one of the oldest parks in Victoria, developed from the Dupont homestead, it has some magnificent green spaces to enjoy as well as a playground. About half a kilometer of paved trails within the park with many benches along the way make this park a favorite with people of all ages. Flowering quince (Chaenomeles x superba), Helleborus argutifolius, magnolia, rhododendron and azalea spp., as well as double flower marsh marigold (Caltha palustris) are just a few plants you can find here. Garry oak (Quercus garryana), silver maple, Ohio buckeye, weeping European ash, Douglas fir, peeling bark maple, dawn red wood, arbutus and monkey puzzle (Araucaria araucana) trees are also found in the park. This is a wonderful place to explore nature and the outdoors. There are picnic tables for snack breaks and toddler friendly play equipment if you are small enough. Enjoy the swings, slides and climbing platforms. The five tennis courts are available for year round use so bring rackets and balls. There are also public toilets at this park. Victoria High School Green Space is two blocks west of Stadacona Park and Pandora Avenue Green Space is a short stroll across Pandora Avenues.

Stadacona Park can be reached from the Trans Canada Highway. Continue along the highway as it becomes Douglas Street. Turn east onto Johnson Street and continue past Fernwood Road as the road curves to become Begbie Street. The park is located on the left a block after the intersection with Pandora Avenue/Oak Bay Avenue. The park is located between Begbie Street, Belmont Avenue, Elford Street and Pandora Avenue. There is limited roadside parking along Belmont Avenue and Elford Street. Pandora Avenue is one way street and although Johnston Street is also an one way street, Begbie has two directional traffic.
