At 7742 West Saanich Road stands a church built in the eighteen sixties with a continuing congregation. It was rebuilt in the early nineteen hundreds and is another historical building and church in the area with consecrated grounds nearby. Our Lady of the Assumption Church and Cemetery Green Space is in the municipality of Central Saanich, one of the thirteen which form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Located on the Saanich Peninsula of Vancouver Island, this green space hosts the church building and parking areas. It has two parts as the cemetery is about three hundred meters along West Saanich Road. The yard of the church has several shrubs and trees including a cedar hedge fencing along the property line. This is a historical place to walk in your backyard.

Our Lady of the Assumption Church and Cemetery Green Space can be reached from the Trans-Canada Highway, Highway One. Exit on to Mackenzie Avenue to reach Highway 17, the Pat Bay Highway. Continue along Highway 17 to reach Mount Newton Cross Road. Turn left onto Mount Newton Cross Road and follow along to reach West Saanich Road. Turn left onto West Saanich Road and look for the Church green space at 7742 West Saanich Road. There is a parking area.
