Christ Church Cathedral Green Space is in the seaside city of Victoria, one of thirteen communities that form the Capital Regional District of British Columbia. Quiet your mind while you walk the brickwork labyrinth beside the Christ Church Cathedral in Victoria, B.C. The seven circuit design winds you in and then out and is great for all ages. If you can, arrive so that you can complete the mediation walk while the church bells are ringing. The green space located on the south side of the cathedral. There is a small grass covered area beside the labyrinth that is shaded by a tall Sierra redwood and several big leaf maple and Garry oak trees. The green space is bordered by Quadra and Burdett streets as well as a wooded trellis fence and yew hedges. There are several benches along the pathway beside the wall of the Gothic style church building. The cathedral was built in eighteen ninety six replacing two earlier wood structures, one which burnt down the other became too small for the Anglican congregation. The Court House Green Space is across Quadra Street and Pioneer Square Cemetery is on the north side of the cathedral. Beacon Hill Park, St. Ann’s Academy Garden, Mount St. Mary’s Hospital Garden, St Joseph’s Hospital Garden and Cridge Park are found south along Quadra Street.

Christ Church Cathedral Green Space can be reached from Blanchard Street. Turn left onto Burdett Street and continue to Quadra Street. Continue across Quadra Street and look for the green space along the left. There is a small parking area near the church off of Burdett Street. City buses travel along Fort Street, two blocks north, from downtown Victoria.
